Elf
By Nicole Oliverio, and Katherine Putz
Buddy- He is a human that was raised by elves, and came to New York City to find his biological father.
Michael- Walter's other son, who is in 7th grade, and 13 years old.
Location- This will be the very last scene in the play, when he is in the North Pole with Jovie and micheal, after everyone was in the park singing, and got santa's sleigh to fly.
Setting- This scene takes place in the North Pole. (On stage is Santa's work shop with 2 tables, 4 chairs at each, lots of toys, an outside area with reindeer, a Christmas tree, and many Christmas decorations)
Michael- Wow! This place is amazing; I always wondered what the North Pole looked like! (Moving from right stage center to center stage)
Buddy- This is where I grew up my whole life, isn't it magical?
Michael- Yes, it's awesome! I want to see everything, I want to feed the reindeer, help make toys, make a snowman, and make Christmas cookies with the elves!
Buddy- That all sounds like so much fun, but I don't know if we can do all that in a day! Dad wants you back home tomorrow!
Michael- No I don't want to go home! I want to stay here forever!
Buddy- We can try and do as much as we can but tomorrow at noon we need to start heading back!
Michael- Okay, first we will feed the reindeer!
Buddy- Okay, here's the food! Let's go! (Both head left center stage to outside area with the reindeer)
Michael- Wow, they are so nice! I wish I could have one as a pet!
Buddy- They are very cool animals! But we have to go in its very late, and you need to go home in the morning
Michael- No I don't want to!
Buddy- You have to that was the deal we made with dad!
Michael- Fine! But can I come back again?
Buddy- Of course you can, anytime!
Michael- Okay then I'll go home tomorrow, because then I can just come back another time!
Buddy- Okay! Let's go inside, and have some hot coco and Christmas cookies. (Moving to down stage right)
Michael- Can I help you make some toys before we go to bed?
Buddy- Sure thing! Is it okay if we make a teddy bear? You can cuddle with it when you go to bed.
Michael- Yes that's great! Then when we go home I can give it to my mom for a Christmas present!
Buddy- Make it with love, all the toys at the North Pole are made with love, its an elf rule. (Lights dim and play ends)
